Its Finally Here..

Over the past few years, we have been seeing lots of novels being adapted into the big screen. Take the LOTR series for example. The epic fantasy world created by the late J.R.R Tolkien was finally been given a face to show the world. His lovingly created characters, born of his imagination have been given voices and life, so to speak, through the efforts of Peter Jackson and his gifted and dedicated crew. By all means, i could definitely say that by making the 3 movies that he did, he managed to garner a whole legion of new fans to the LOTR universe, let alone the fantasy genre overall.

Beware of road collapsing beneath your feet

Even 'The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe' from the Chronicles of Narnia has been made into a movie. I remember watching the trailer and feeling so pumped and excited anticipating the movie to come out. And what a movie it was! Not as good as LOTR tho'. Who knew that centaurs could look so cool? Haha!

Which now brings me to a topic very dear and close to my heart - Dragonlance the Movie! Ever since i was a young teenager, i grew up reading Dragonlance novels. I was and still am totally captivated by the colourful characters and the powerful story of love, sacrifice and brotherhood it embodies. In fact, it is the only set of books i have in my collection that i have read over 7 times and will not hesitate to read again!

So imagine my elation when i heard that Dragonlance was going to be made into a movie!

A Movie!!!!!

And whats more, the trailer has been released on my birthday! What more could a die-hard Dragonlance fan ask for?

It is with heartfelt emotion that i present to you the culmination of years and years of debate, the fruit of perseverence in face of uncertainty, pushing through all doubt and criticism, the long awaited DRAGONLANCE TRAILER!

Huh? Cartoon ah?
Somemore the graphics remind me of the ones we usually watch around 5pm during our primary school days... Must've taken them reaaaally long to make this movie.
Haha... better stick with your imagination.
